Team Saij exists to change the landscape of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
by funding early stage drug development which moves promising experimental therapies
out of the lab and through the risky early stages of development.

What We Do
Team Saij funds a collaboration of investigators at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute to work on Skeletal Muscle Tissue Engineering. The investigators have complementary expertise in muscle biology and regeneration, biomaterials and tissue engineering and Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs).
